Your photographs are needed for the 2018 calendar.
You have plenty of time – until mid-September. But don’t leave it until the last minute – we always want a good variety of shots to make the calendar interesting and of course to match the seasons.
The brief is: Photographs must be obviously of Rhoscolyn or Four Mile Bridge. By which we mean that it must be immediately identifiable as having been taken in these areas. So a scenic shot of a hillside, cliff face or the sea, however beautiful, is not useable if it doesn’t have an obvious landmark in it.
The photograph can be colour or black and white and the higher the resolution the better.
Send them into email@example.com, giving the subject of your covering email as 2018 Rhoscolyn calendar (so it doesn’t get confused with website photographs).
This year’s calendar made £1000 (£1250 with Gift Aid), for Tenovus, the Welsh cancer research charity.
Funds raised this year will go the Rhoscolyn NCI, which mans (and womens) the lookout on an entirely voluntary basis. The Lookout badly needs watertight replacement windows and roof so that is what we will be funding.
Let’s make 2018 a bumper year for them.
