How to name your photos
Bear in mind, I receive very many photographs so there is a distinct possibility that if unnamed a photograph used could be wrongly attributed. It has happened.
SO, once again, the way to name the actual photograph is:
Right click on the photo you are naming.
Scroll down to “show more options” and click on “rename” your photo.
Then, please type in your name (or the name of whoever took the picture) – can be surname with initial but please not just two initials as you might not be the only one with these.
Then what the picture shows, – eg: rabbit; sky; Lookout; …. Whatever will make it immediately obvious what it is.
If you are sending several at the same time from the same person of the same subject put numbers, 1, 2 etc at the end.
It really isn’t difficult once you know how, and does make my life a lot easier – and also ensures you are credited with your pictures.
If you then want to say a bit more about it in your email that is fine and can be helpful.
Thank you – If you are still confused, let me know and I will try and help you through it.
And DO send in your contributions for both The Herald and the next Rhoscolyn calendar – never too soon for this!
PLEASE put “For the Herald” or “For the calendar” in the subject of your email.
