NHS Direct Wales (0845647, or www.nhsdirect.wales.nhs.uk) can help find a local doctor or dentist.
The community hospital, Ysbyty Penrhos Stanley In Holyhead has a minor injuries unit (01407 766000).
Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor (01248 384384) has the nearest Accident and Emergency provision

Vets:
The Anglesey Pet Clinic, Cyttir Road, Holyhead (01407 764999) runs daily clinics between 0900 and 1800 and if closed you will get advice on where to find an emergency service..
The Bodrwnsiwn Veterinary Group has an appointments surgery in Holyhead on Kingsland Road (01407 769183). Its 24 hour emergency service can be contacted on 01407 769183. Its branch in Mona deals with larger animals (farm animals, horses etc) a well as pets.
Waste Collection:
Rubbish is collected in Rhoscolyn and Four Mile Bridge on Monday. for further information about this or other council matters, contact 01248 750057, or visit their website – www.anglesey.gov.uk.
Post Offices:
The nearest post office is in Trearddur Bay, but check its opening hours because they are more limited that the PO in Valley which is open all day on weekdays and on Saturday mornings. The nearest general Post Office is in Holyhead, in a shop called The Chocolate Box!
St Gwenfaen’s Hall is available to hire for wedding receptions, parties, meetings etc. Go to stgwenfaen.org website for further information.
Shops:
The nearest general stores are in Trearddur Bay (two) and Valley (two). The Spar in Valley is open 24 Hours.
Supermarket Home Delivery:
Tesco in Holyhead makes home deliveries (www.tesco.com). So does Waitrose in Menai Bridge (www.waitrose.com).
Banks / cashpoints:
There is only one bank now: Santander, Market Street. It has an external cashpoints. There are also cashpoints in Trearddur Bay and Valley, as well as at Tesco and Morrisons in Holyhead.
St Gwenfaen’s School:
Ysgol Santes Gwenfaen Rhoscolyn is a County Primary bi-lingual school with 116 pupils, with a catchment area covering the South of Holy Island.
It is fortunate to be situated in a rural area with ample grounds for sports and outdoor activities. It holds the National Gold award for Outdoor Education.

National Coastwatch Institution Rhoscolyn

Location: 53’14.6N 04’36.26W. In large unlocked cupboard to the left of the main door and accessible to the public when Station is closed.
